Meet Creator DAV PILKEY and step into an exclusive DOG MAN experience you won’t find anywhere else!

THE EVENT EXPERIENCE:

• Ticket holders will have an opportunity to take a photo with author and illustrator Dav Pilkey!
• In addition to the above, there will be EPIC activities including a photo opportunity with the Dog Man and Captain Underpants costume characters, exclusive giveaways, and more!
• Attendees are encouraged to POWER UP and dress up as Dog Man, Captain Underpants, Cat Kid, or your favorite Dav Pilkey book character!

ABOUT THE EVENT + TICKETS:

Each ticket costs $19.20 (inclusive of all taxes and fees) and includes the event experience, a pre-signed copy of Dog Man: A Sprinkle in Time by Dav Pilkey — plus a limited edition Dog Man glow-in-the-dark backpack tag!

Your pre-signed copy of Dog Man: A Sprinkle in Time with glow-in-the-dark backpack tag will be available for pick-up as you enter the event.

Inspired by one of the themes in Dav Pilkey’s books about the importance of doing good, if you wish to give away any of your extra signed books, we are happy to donate it on your behalf to our literacy organization partners, local school libraries, and Title 1 schools.

HELPFUL TIPS/NOTES/GUIDELINES:

• For guidelines, please check with the bookstore/event host. Due to the number of people waiting in line for the photo opportunity with Dav Pilkey, it is very much appreciated that these guidelines are followed.
• The mayor of Decatur has proclaimed that November 13th is Dog Man Day in Decatur! As a special treat, the City of Decatur will show the Dog Man movie that evening on the Decatur Square. This movie screening is free to attend. Food trucks will be onsite or grab a meal at one of Decatur's many fabulous restaurants!

• Paid parking can be found throughout Decatur, and parking options can be found here. Public transportation is a great way to get to Decatur! Take MARTA to the Decatur station; Little Shop is a one minute walk from the station.
• Ticketholders will be assigned a timed entry when purchasing tickets and should plan to enter the photo-op line no earlier than 30 minutes before the assigned time. Please note: the photo line will involve stairs. Anyone in need of ADA accomodations should please reach out to info@littleshopofstories.com prior to the event.
• Photography/Videography Release: Please be aware that Scholastic Inc. will be photographing and recording this event. By attending the event, patrons agree that if you are filmed, photographed, or otherwise recorded, you consent to Scholastic using your image and voice for any and all purposes without compensation or further notice.

About Dav Pilkey
