The ugly truth is that women founders are still building, funding, and scaling companies in rooms where they are often the minority — especially across tech, AI, and startup ecosystems where credibility, capital, and access are not distributed equally.
This conversation is about what that actually looks like behind the scenes: the tradeoffs, the bias, the financing challenges, the pressure to overperform, and the real work of building companies across cultures and markets.
🎯 Why you should be in this room.
- Hear directly from women founders on what it really takes to build and scale in tech, AI, and emerging markets.
- Get a more honest view of inclusion beyond the polished panels and generic “women in tech” talking points.
- Understand how founders navigate capital, credibility, collaboration, and growth when they are building in industries where women are still underrepresented.
- Meet founders, operators, investors, creatives, and Soho House members who care about building more connected startup ecosystems.
- Be part of Ugly Talk CDMX’s early community as it creates a bridge between Mexico City, LATAM, and New York.
💬 What's on the table.
- What inclusion actually looks like inside the Mexican and LATAM startup ecosystem.
- The reality of building, financing, and scaling companies as a woman founder.
- How women founders earn trust, capital, and credibility in rooms where they are still underrepresented.
- What AI changes — and does not change — about collaboration, access, and company building.
- The difference between performative diversity and real ecosystem support.
- What Mexico City and New York founders can learn from each other.
- How international founder communities can create more practical opportunities across borders.
