Balbuena Culinary is helping the community for a special fundraiser benefiting @dawahdelivery and @nela_food_distribution — two grassroots efforts helping make sure our neighbors have access to food when they need it most.

Dawah Delivery has been providing grocery deliveries to families in South Central, including people who have been sheltering in place and unable to safely get food themselves. They’ve also relied on community volunteers and drivers to get those groceries where they need to go.

NELA Food Distribution has grown from one neighbor answering a need into a community-powered operation distributing groceries to roughly 450–500 people each week across 12 ZIP codes, with a rotating network of nearly 200 volunteers.

So we’re going to do what we do best: feed people.
