POM A & S Refresher and LA Update

Foot Forward CPD is delighted to be hosting Dr Ian Reilly for his very informative POMs and LA Update.

It's been three years since the last POM A and POM S but with some podiatrists still cautious and nervous about supplying antibiotics and which medications they have the ability to sell to patients. This refresher, from Dr Ian Reilly, should help refresh your understanding and prospective on the medications you can use and sell/provide.

The first part of the course will cover:

• all medicolegal information
• background on pharmacology and podiatry
• what is expected from you as an annotated POM S
• what you should be doing in your clinic and ensuring you are using your abilities to the max.

The second half of this CPD day is the LA Update

• Learn and understand the changes in regulation
• POM A update and understanding
• understanding of other Local Anaesthetics you are able to use in clinic.

This will be a full and interesting day of very bad dad jokes, puns and much information.

Open to all podiatrists who have the annotations POM A and S on their HCPC registration.

This is not a course to complete these annotations to gain registration.

POM S will be delivered in the morning session.

POM A and LA Update this will be in the afternoon session.

All day covers both POM A and S + LA Update - from £85

POM A + LA Update will be Afternoon only inc lunch - from £55

There is parking available at the hotel with a charge.

Breaks will be announced at the beginning of the day.
