Description: Boogie Woogie is the evolutionary branch of Lindy Hop that happened after American GIs brought it to Europe during WWII. Patricio Espinoza Garces and Neil Figuracion are teaching a Beyond the Basics class to share this style of swing dancing, which emphasizes fancy footwork and dynamic spins. Come join us for one night only!
Teach Bios
Patricio Espinoza Garces (he/him) hails from Chile, where he has been teaching Boogie Woogie for nearly a decade. He has won numerous Boogie Woogie competitions and helped inspire a generation of dancers in this distinct style!
Neil Figuracion (any pronouns) has been swing dancing for just 29 years and a week. Neil learned Boogie Woogie from world champions and taught for them as well. It has been some time since then, but Neil really just wanted to stir the pot.
