Austin Bake Club: Goosebumps

Austin bakers, do you feel the faintest hint of a chill in the air? The burn ban may still be in effect, but for October’s event, we’re gathering around the metaphorical campfire to swap spooky treats. It’s Austin Bake Club: Goosebumps edition.

As always, our theme can be interpreted any way you like. You could find inspiration in scary stories, scorpio season, your favorite Halloween movie, or simply in autumnal flavors. Maybe it’s a snack to share at your next seance, a freaky treat fit for a costume party, or a sacrificial offering to the hunter’s moon. Have fun with it!

The rules are simple: bring homemade baked goods that fit the theme, connect with other bakers, and leave with a box of themed treats. No plus ones (each attendee MUST bring their own item), and please nothing store bought. This event is meant to create community among bakers and allow you to flex your creative muscles. Bakers of all ages and skill levels are welcome.

To-go boxes will be provided so that you can take home treats from the other bakers. The event ticket will help cover the cost of the venue and secure your spot.

This month’s club will be a single session as we prepare for a larger event later this year (get excited!).
