Artist Reception for Jon Huang

In celebration of Jonathan Huang as our featured artist, we are hosting a reception on Sunday, September 27 from 7-8:00pm.

Jon is an artist and visual storyteller whose work combines animal biology and visual development inspired by the world of animation. Hie enjoys taking biological concepts and animal-centric stories and incorporating them with dynamic poses, cinematic perspectives, and exaggerated expressions to create humor and narrative driven pieces. While he most often creates digitally in Adobe Photoshop, he comes from a traditional background of pastel, charcoal, ink, and oil and acrylic paint.

Stop by to meet the artist and see his incredible artwork! The reception is FREE of charge and open to the public, although a $10 suggested donation and RSVP through Eventbrite is immensely appreciated and helps to support our continuing efforts to feature local artists.

Light snacks & beverages will provided! And of course there will be a bouncing bunch of bunnies in attendance as well.
