Step into the shadows at Spooky Wax Workshop, a hauntingly creative encaustic experience where you’ll build dark, moody imagery through layers of luminous wax and the magic of fusing with heat. Create eerie compositions with creepy silhouettes, mysterious textures, and atmospheric details as you explore the expressive possibilities of wax. If you’ve taken my Photos + Wax workshop, feel free to bring pre-printed tissue-paper images to incorporate; previous Layering Workshop participants are also welcome to bring silhouette cutouts, specialty papers, or any haunting elements you’d love to embed. Otherwise, all supplies are included - just bring your imagination and a willingness to get a little spooky. You will leave this workshop with your very own original 8x8 or 8x10 wood panel encaustic painting!
Other items participants may want to bring are: apron and disposable gloves.
