Legacy Lines LIVE is an interactive showcase introducing Legacy Lines, a youth poetry, creative writing, spoken word, and storytelling program designed to help young people find their voice, tell their story, and leave their legacy.

This isn't just a presentation about the program—you'll get an opportunity to experience it.

Guests will learn how Legacy Lines uses culturally relevant writing activities, music, storytelling, creative challenges, discussion, and performance to engage young people in ways that build confidence, creativity, communication, and self-expression.

What to Expect

During the showcase, guests will:

• Experience a sample Legacy Lines activity
• Get an inside look at the 8-week curriculum
• Learn about workshops, multi-week programs, and youth residencies
• Discover Page to Stage, our culminating spoken-word and performance experience
• Preview opportunities for youth to have their writing featured in a Legacy Lines anthology
• Learn how schools and organizations can bring Legacy Lines directly to their young people
• Explore partnership and sponsorship opportunities

Legacy Lines is designed for middle and high school-aged youth and can be adapted for schools, after-school programs, nonprofits, libraries, recreation programs, faith communities, and other youth-serving organizations.

Educators, school leaders, nonprofit professionals, youth-development professionals, community organizations, potential partners, and funders are especially encouraged to attend.

Following the showcase, guests are invited to stay for a light networking lunch and conversation about potential partnerships.
