King Pin Knocked Out Exhibition Contenders: Radio Heroes

Immediately following the themed curator tour, these sessions are not to be missed.  This session focuses on boxing and wrestling albums and scrapbooks from the radio era.

The Dave Cameron Collection is a fascinating look at boxing and wrestling in New Zealand and beyond. A lifetime of collecting, including 238 scrapbooks, 259 photo albums, 93 posters, 20 shelves of magazines and books, and 9 boxes of programmes, correspondence, and tickets. It is impossible to show all of the collection in one exhibition. Knocked out - Exhibition contenders is a fascinating behind the scenes look at what didn’t get selected for the exhibition, and why. Themed to complement our curator tours it’s an opportunity to be astounded at the scope and scale of the collection.
