Do you need to be an experienced storyteller to participate?

Accepted Answer

Not at all. This is not about performance. It is about sharing your memories and experiences. It is in the sharing that makes you a storyteller and that is enough. So you don't need a script or a performing background.

Question 2

Are the stories written or planned ahead?

Accepted Answer

Participants show up with everything they need: just themselves. No writing needed, no homework, no stress. After a group warm up, the event facilitator will offer a prompt for you to think about before sharing your story out loud through casual conversation.

Question 3

Will there be a large audience attendance?

Accepted Answer

Nope. We specifically designed this experience to be a smaller group of participants to lower the pressure and provide a container for a safer, warmer atmosphere.

I can't make it this time. Will there be events like this in the future?

Accepted Answer

Do I have to get up on a stage?

Accepted Answer

Nope! There won't be a stage to get up on. Just a room, some couches and chairs, and people sharing their stories with one another. Just conversations.

What if I don't have a story? Or don't think my story is good enough?

Accepted Answer

If it happened to you, that's the story. That's enough. We want the funny, the quiet, the messy, the big, the small and the everyday moments. Your memories will lead the way.
