Your Family has moved into a new home and is soon terrorized by a being from beyond. You have few clues to its origins or nature or what it wants. The only thing you've learned so far about its desires is that it wants souls. Can your family fight to save the soul of one of its members?

It Wants Souls is inspired by movies such as Insidious, The Conjuring, and Sinister. One character is the Outsider, looking to terrorize the other players in the Family, leading to a final confrontation over the soul it wishes to claim.

He enjoys RPGs as an art form that lets humans connect and express themselves through stories in a group format, his GMing style is all about empowering and enabling those special moments that everyone will talk about for years to come.

The Great Soul Train Robbery

On the road to hell there was a railway line. An express train to the infernal city of Dis, crewed by furies and carrying treasure and souls to damnation. You and your fellow Desperados have heard rumors of a fabulous prize aboard this Hell-bound train, and you've stowed away on the caboose to rob the thing. To claim your prize, you’ll make your way forward through the train car by car, using your wits, guns, or heart to navigate obstacles. When that lonesome whistle sounds, will you have the grit and the gristle to knock over the hell-bound train? Will you lose your own soul in the process?

Paula is an indie GM who has been running games for 9 years, including at PAX Unplugged. She specializes in running immersive and memorable indie games that feel accessible for the new and refreshing for the experienced.

• Side Quest Books & Games is located on the balcony of Bow Market in Somerville's Union Square. There is an elevator available in the Bow Market lobby, which is to the right of Pop's Pinball Parlor.
