No. FLOW is about expression, not perfection. No artistic experience is required.

What does my $55 registration include?

Your complete 90-minute guided experience, canvas, paints, brushes, color-meaning materials, Glow FLOW supplies, and all other art materials.

What happens during FLOW?

You'll experience guided meditation and breathwork, mirror affirmations, intentional color selection, free-flow art, Glow FLOW painting, and closing reflection.

What is Mirror Work?

You'll use the room's large mirror for self-reflection and positive affirmations. Speaking or sharing with the group is always optional.

What is Glow FLOW?

We'll use fluorescent/black lighting with UV-reactive colors to add a glowing dimension to your artwork.

What should I wear?

Wear something comfortable that you don't mind getting a little paint on. Aprons will be available.

What is the refund policy?

All registrations are non-refundable. Tickets may be transferred to another person or transferred one time to a future FLOW event. If the event is canceled by the organizer, you will receive a full refund.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to check in, get comfortable, and prepare your space before we begin.

Do I have to participate in the mirror affirmations?

You are encouraged to participate in the personal reflection experience, but speaking or sharing aloud with the group is always optional.

Can I bring a guest with me?

Because FLOW is intentionally limited to 8 participants, everyone attending must have their own registered ticket.

Yes. Your finished FLOW canvas is yours to take home at the end of the experience.

No. FLOW is a non-clinical creative wellness experience centered on mindfulness, creativity, self-expression, and reflection.

What is Guided Meditation & Breathwork?

We begin with gentle guided breathing and meditation to help you slow down, become present, clear distractions, and set an intention before creating.

What is Mirror Work?

Mirror work is a self-reflection exercise using The Lavender Room’s large mirror. You’ll be invited to intentionally look at yourself, reflect, and offer yourself positive and affirming words. Sharing aloud with the group is optional.

Before painting, you’ll explore our FLOW Color Meaning Cards and consider common associations connected with different colors. You’ll then choose the colors that personally speak to you rather than selecting a palette based solely on appearance.

Colors can carry different personal and cultural meanings. For FLOW, we use them as prompts for reflection—for example, lavender may represent calm and healing, pink self-love and compassion, green renewal and growth, blue peace, gold worth and empowerment, and black grounding and strength. Glow FLOW changes the atmosphere using fluorescent/black lighting and UV-reactive colors. You’ll add glowing elements to your artwork and experience your canvas under a completely different light.

There is no picture for everyone to copy. You’ll begin with spontaneous lines and shapes, then use your selected colors to develop your canvas naturally. The focus is expression and exploration—not artistic perfection.

At the end of FLOW, we’ll slow things down again. You’ll have an opportunity to look at your finished canvas, consider what emerged during the experience, and close out the evening intentionally. Sharing is always optional.

Do I have to believe in the spiritual meaning of colors or the moon?

No. FLOW welcomes different perspectives. The colors, moon theme, meditation, and reflection exercises are simply tools for creativity and personal reflection. Take from the experience what resonates with you.
