Littlest Tea Party

A sweet outdoor morning of tea, flowers, and sensory play.

Join us for an outdoor tea party designed especially for toddlers and babies! Little ones will explore sensory play, movement, and botanicals while grown-ups get to slow down and enjoy a morning with other parents.

Together, you'll:

• Explore sensory play with water, flowers, herbs, and other tactile treasures
  
• Discover tea and botanicals through touch, scent, sight, and taste
  
• Create a take-home flower bouquet craft
  
• Capture sweet memories in a beautiful flower-filled photo setup
  
• Enjoy story time, imaginative play, and a playful movement circle led by a pediatric PT

Each family will recieve a Green Toys tea set to continue the play at home!

PARTICIPANT RELEASE & WAIVER

By registering for and participating in The Littlest Tea Party (the “Event”), I acknowledge and agree to the following on behalf of myself and, where applicable, my child(ren) or minor participant(s) listed below.

1. Voluntary Participation

I voluntarily choose to participate in the Event and understand that participation is not required.

I understand that The Littlest Tea Party is an outdoor, parent/child event that may include sensory play, water play, movement activities, botanical materials, crafts, tea and food/beverage tasting, imaginative play, and interaction with other children and adults.

I understand that I am responsible for supervising my child(ren) at all times during the Event. Peri and its event partners are not providing childcare, babysitting, or drop-off care.

2. Acknowledgment of Risks

I understand that participation in the Event involves inherent and other risks, including but not limited to:

• slips, trips, falls, and other accidents;
• wet or uneven outdoor surfaces;
• contact with water, plants, flowers, herbs, soil, and other natural materials;
• sensory materials entering the eyes, mouth, nose, or ears;
• choking or other risks associated with small objects or craft materials;
• allergic or other reactions to plants, flowers, herbs, foods, beverages, or other materials;
• burns or other injuries associated with hot or warm beverages;
• injuries resulting from movement, play, or interaction with equipment or other participants;
• illness or exposure to communicable diseases;
• weather-related conditions, including heat, sun exposure, rain, or other outdoor conditions; and
• the ordinary risks associated with participating in an event with young children and members of the public.

I understand that these risks cannot necessarily be eliminated without changing the nature of the Event.

3. Parent/Guardian Responsibility

If I am registering or participating on behalf of a minor child, I represent that I am the child's parent or legal guardian and have authority to enter into this agreement on the child's behalf.

I agree to supervise my child at all times and to use my own judgment regarding whether a particular activity, material, food, beverage, or experience is appropriate for my child.

I understand that Peri and its event partners may ask a child to stop participating in an activity if they believe the activity is unsafe or inappropriate.

4. Allergies, Sensitivities & Medical Conditions

I understand that the Event may involve flowers, plants, herbs, botanical materials, food, beverages, water, and other sensory materials.

I am responsible for informing Peri or the appropriate event partner of any known allergy, sensitivity, dietary restriction, medical condition, or other circumstance that could affect my child's participation.

I understand that Peri and its event partners cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

I agree that I will not allow my child to consume any food, beverage, plant, herb, or other material unless I have determined that it is appropriate and safe for my child.

5. Release of Claims

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I release and discharge Peri, its owners, employees, contractors, volunteers, event partners, instructors, vendors, sponsors, representatives, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from claims arising from my participation in the Event or, to the extent legally permitted, my child's participation in the Event, including claims for personal injury, illness, property damage, or other loss arising from the ordinary negligence of a Released Party.

This release does not apply to claims or conduct that cannot lawfully be released under applicable law.

6. Covenant Not to Sue

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I agree not to bring a claim against any Released Party for matters that I have agreed to release under this agreement.

7. Medical Treatment

In the event of an emergency, I authorize Peri and its representatives to seek or facilitate appropriate emergency medical assistance for me or my child if I am unable to do so.

I understand that Peri is not responsible for providing medical care and that I am responsible for any medical expenses incurred on my or my child's behalf.

8. Assumption of Responsibility

I understand that I am responsible for making informed decisions about my child's participation in the Event and for providing appropriate supervision.

I have had the opportunity to ask questions about the Event and its activities before participating.

9. Agreement and Acknowledgment

By checking the box below and completing registration, I acknowledge that:

• I have read and understand this Release & Waiver;
• I understand the risks associated with participation;
• I am voluntarily participating and permitting my child(ren) to participate;
• I understand that I am responsible for supervising my child(ren) throughout the Event; and
• I agree to the terms of this Release & Waiver to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Electronic Signature / Registration Confirmation:
By completing registration and checking the required acknowledgment box, I agree that my electronic acceptance constitutes my signature and agreement to this Release & Waiver.
