RPG Game Night, "Dread" w/ Paula at SQBG

ABOUT THE GAME

Dread is a horror game that uses no dice. Instead the only mechanic is a Jenga Tower that sits in the middle of the table. If you would like to do something that would normally require a dice roll, you simply need to pull a piece from the tower. If you succeed, the action is successful. But if the tower falls, your character dies!

In Dread we tell a horror story together where the stakes feel more real than ever, and the impending dread grows with each pulled piece.

Paula is an indie GM who has been running games for 9 years, including at PAX Unplugged. She specializes in running immersive and memorable indie games that feel accessible for the new and refreshing for the experienced.

ABOUT THE VENUE

• Side Quest Books & Games is located on the balcony of Bow Market in Somerville's Union Square. There is an elevator available in the Bow Market lobby, which is to the right of Pop's Pinball Parlor.
