THE RADICAL REFRESH EXPERIENCE

Radical Refresh is a one-day women’s wellness and empowerment experience created by Amy Powers, Sandy Duarte, and Kim Starzyk, taking place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the beautiful HEXI Building in Los Angeles.

This isn't a conference. It isn't a fitness class. And it isn't about adding one more thing to an already overflowing calendar.

It's permission to pause.

Guests arrive and immediately step into a space designed to feel different from the outside world. A fresh smoothie welcomes them. Music sets the tone. There is time to connect, settle in, and breathe.

From there, the experience unfolds through movement, nourishment, reflection, conversation, mindset, and sound.

Sandy brings Yoga + Sound, moving guests through an uplifting Yang-to-Yin practice before closing the day with an immersive sound bath featuring crystal singing bowls and Peter Hess sound massage bowls.

Amy brings Your Pen Is Your Portal, using guided journaling to help guests slow down, listen inward, and discover what can emerge when we put pen to paper.

Kim brings Healthy Aging: Myth vs. Mindset, an empowering exploration of the beliefs and stories we carry about aging—and a fresh perspective on approaching life with greater intention, vitality, and possibility. She’ll share practical tools for supporting well-being and feeling more vibrant, confident, and empowered at every age.

Throughout the day, guests can enjoy healthy bites and refreshments while connecting, laughing, reflecting, and taking in the experience at their own pace.

And who are we? Three women at different stages of life, with different experiences and perspectives, brought together by a shared belief: that taking care of yourself isn't a luxury—it's essential.

Sandy Duarte is a yoga and sound practitioner, wellness advocate, and Stage IV cancer survivor. Her own journey taught her the profound importance of caring for yourself in the midst of life—not waiting until things slow down or a crisis forces you to pay attention.

Amy Powers is a writer, storyteller, and lifelong seeker who believes in the power of reflection, curiosity, and putting words to what we often keep inside. Her work is rooted in helping people pause, listen inward, and create space for what wants to emerge.

Kim Starzyk is a wellness entrepreneur, intuitive coach, and longtime advocate for helping women feel healthier, more vibrant, and more empowered in their lives. She brings a deep belief that every chapter of life holds possibility—and that we don't have to settle for simply getting older when we can continue to grow, evolve, and thrive.

That is the heart of Radical Refresh.
