Celebrate Dani Offline’s new album Lover’s Discourse with a live performance and listening party at Lore.
Join us at LORE Bookshop in Leimert Park for an intimate evening with Los Angeles-based artist, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Dani Offline, celebrating the release of her new album, Lover’s Discourse.
Inspired by Quiet Storm radio, poetic lyricism, and Roland Barthes’ 1978 text A Lover’s Discourse, the album unfolds across twelve songs that blend jazz influences, soulful arrangements, and deeply personal storytelling. Written primarily through diary entries and improvisation, Dani’s music is sensual, introspective, nostalgic, and entirely her own.
The evening will feature a live performance alongside a listening experience centered around the new record, offering audiences a chance to hear the music in an intimate setting and celebrate this special release with the artist. An art installation by Darrian Dinero, inspired by A Lover’s Discourse, will also be on display throughout the evening, creating a visual extension of the album and its themes.
