Say More: Freestyle Techniques & Flow with David "BS" Bradshaw [PRQ-I]
October 2
Class Time/Dates: 7:00pm-10:00pm on Friday // October 2
Schedule: 1 session
Class size: 12 students maximum
Prerequisite: Open to all adults 18+. Recommended for performers with prior freestyle rap, musical improv, or rhythmic performance experience.
Tuition: $99
Designed for performers with some experience in freestyle, musical improv, or rhythmic performance, Say More is about deepening your freestyle skills, expanding your creative range, and bringing greater command to improvised rap.
Led from an emcee’s perspective, the workshop moves beyond freestyle fundamentals into flow variation, punchlines, storytelling, expanded rhyme structures, and the presence needed to create confidently under pressure.
Participants will work on:
– Expanding rhyme patterns and vocabulary
– Developing rhythmic control and phrasing
– Structuring cohesive topical verses from familiar and unfamiliar prompts
– Building stamina and recovering quickly from blocks
– Staying present and adaptable under pressure
– Taking bigger creative risks without sacrificing clarity or connection
Rooted in the Freestyle Fitness approach, the workshop combines playful repetition with real-time application, giving performers opportunities to test their skills in cyphers and collaborative formats.
The goal is to develop sharper instincts, a stronger individual voice, and more dynamic, performance-ready freestyle.
