Before red carpets and curated guest lists, there were rent parties. Folks clearing out the living room, passing a plate, turning everyday struggle into celebration. Music so good it softened the weight of the workweek. Community was survival. Joy was resistance. This Pre-Labor Day Weekend, Dream Defenders is bringing that spirit back.

This is a love letter to the working-class. A function for the people who keep the world moving. A third space for Black, brown, and LGBTQ+ workers across industries: The artists, organizers, nail techs, warehouse workers, teachers, braiders, cooks, caregivers, designers, janitors, poets, and culture shifters.

Pull up for a sought-after kickback rooted in fellowship, music, art, food, libations, and collective release. Come as you are. Come off your shift. Come ready to exhale and two-step.
