Kingdom Weekend

# KINGDOM WEEKEND

## October 30–November 1, 2026

Jesus and His disciples proclaimed: *“Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand!”* But what does that actually mean for us today?

They proclaimed this message in the power of the Holy Spirit—healing the sick, casting out demons and bringing freedom and transformation into people’s lives through the Gospel.

During the Kingdom Weekend from October 30–November 1, Torben Søndergaard and Sebastiaan van Wessem will unpack the Gospel of the Kingdom in Spirit and truth and explore what it means to follow Jesus as a true disciple.

This Kingdom Weekend is a partnership between *The Last Reformation* and *Celebration Church Netherlands*, bringing together a shared passion to see believers equipped to live and proclaim the message Jesus Himself preached.

The Christian life is meant to be more than attending church meetings. It is a life led by the Holy Spirit—the same life we see in the Book of Acts. Ordinary believers preached the Gospel, healed the sick, cast out demons, baptized new believers and made disciples wherever they went.

But the Gospel is also much more than simply believing in Jesus so that we can go to heaven when we die. It is the good news of the Kingdom of God. Jesus is King, and He will return and restore all things, just as God promised through the prophets.

What does it look like to live as a citizen of God’s Kingdom today? How do we follow Jesus in everyday life, hear the voice of the Holy Spirit, pray for the sick, bring freedom to those who are bound and proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom to people who do not yet know Him?

Throughout the weekend, there will be solid biblical teaching about the Kingdom of God, together with practical equipping and activation. We expect to see people healed, delivered and filled with the Holy Spirit. You will be challenged not only to understand the Kingdom, but also to experience it, live it and bring it to the people around you.
