The National Arts Club Community Day

Experience the NAC like never before as we welcome visitors for a day of free fun!

Visit the National Arts Club for our fifth annual Community Day! In addition to opening our doors as always for our galleries, where you can see our current exhibition Everett Raymond Kinstler: Celebrating 100 Years, we also invite our neighbors and other guests on this special day to explore the Tilden Mansion, our historic landmark building, as well as to enjoy live music on our stoop facing Gramercy Park, family activities, and much more! All free and open to the public.

Schedule of activities:

• All day - Galleries open for viewing
• All day - Tours of the historic NAC's Tilden Mansion parlors (with registration)
• 10 AM - 2 PM - Join Curated Care for expressive arts & crafts activities. Perfect for all ages.
• 12 - 1 PM - Willy Rodriguez, Music Director and Co-Founder of the International Salsa Museum, will lead an energetic performance celebrating classic mambo and hard-hitting salsa, featuring music from two world renowned ensembles he has directed for more than 25 years: La Excelencia and the Tito Puente Jr. Orchestra. Rodriguez began directing La Excelencia at age 17 and became music director of the Tito Puente Jr. Orchestra at 18. Since then, he has performed internationally with both groups, becoming an ambassador for Latin music, culture and a passionate advocate for music education. Get ready to dance and experience the powerful rhythms of salsa and mambo!

Founded in 1898, The National Arts Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a mission to stimulate, foster, and promote public interest in the arts and to educate the American people in the fine arts. Annually, the Club offers more than 150 free programs—both in-person and virtually—to the public, including exhibitions, theatrical and musical performances, lectures and readings, attracting an audience of over 30,000 in-person visitors and thousands more online. Feature programs focus on all disciplines of the arts.
