An evening centering Black women navigating menopause and midlife through connection, documentary storytelling, and community conversation.
Join us for an evening created to center the voices, experiences, and wisdom of Black women navigating menopause and midlife.
The evening begins with a reception designed for connection and community, followed by the premiere of The Stories We Carry, an original documentary featuring local Black women sharing their lived experiences of menopause, identity, change, and the things we often carry quietly.
After the film, we’ll gather for The Village Conversation, a moderated community dialogue that brings the stories on screen into conversation with the experiences, questions, and perspectives in the room.
Together, the reception, documentary premiere, and community conversation create an evening designed to make space for reflection, connection, visibility, and honest conversation about menopause and midlife.
