Royal Style Watch invited you to : The Marie Antoinette Experience will take you through the gates the public rarely gets to walk through slowly, into the Petit Trianon, the one place at Versailles built entirely for her, away from the court that suffocated her. This September marks twenty years since Sofia Coppola put that story on screen and won the Academy Award for it. Now the Palace has built an exhibition inside the very rooms where it was filmed, her costumes, her handwriting on the script, the scenes replayed exactly where they happened.

You will stand where she stood. You will walk the Hamlet where she played at an ordinary life she never got to keep.

Your Guide : Jennifer Hollington, raised in Paris by a French mother and English father, holds a Master's Degree in Fashion and Design. She began her career at Chaumet on Place Vendôme before building a career guiding private clients through the museums and palaces of Paris. Versailles is where she guides most, the Petit Trianon most of all.
