Honest, compassionate conversations about aging well, caregiving, illness, preparation, and end of life – in a safe, supportive space.
Why this exists / who it’s for
End of life is a natural part of life, but most of us were never taught how to talk about it, plan for it, or support the people we love through it. The result is often confusion, fear, and regret – for patients, families, and caregivers.
The Good Death / Good Life Café is a free, community gathering for adults of all ages who want a kinder, more prepared way to face aging, serious illness, and end of life.
What happens at the Café
During this 90–minute Café, we’ll explore practical and emotional topics around aging and end of life in clear, compassionate language. You’ll be invited (never forced) to share your thoughts, ask questions, listen to others, and learn simple ways to support yourself and the people you care about.
This is not a therapy group or a place where anyone is “fixed.” It is a safe, respectful space to learn, reflect, and connect.
Tone and safety
All beliefs and backgrounds are welcome. You are free to share as much or as little as you like. Many people simply come to listen the first time. Our intention is that you leave feeling less alone, more informed, and more at peace with this natural part of life’s journey.
This is an on-going monthly meet-up that happens on the first Monday of each month.
