After5NewYork - The Alien Hypothesis: Examining The Evidence

Overview

Could extraterrestrial life be real, and what evidence supports the possibility that we are not alone in the universe?

A Conversation on Extraterrestrial Life, Science, and the Search for Answers

Join a history educator and researcher for The Alien Hypothesis: Examining the Evidence, a fascinating exploration of one of humanity’s most enduring questions: Are we truly alone in the universe? Together, we'll examine the scientific evidence behind the possibility of extraterrestrial life, explore what we know and what we still don't know about unexplained phenomena, and consider how researchers search for signs of life beyond Earth.

What We'll Cover:

• The possibility of life beyond Earth - Explore why scientists believe extraterrestrial life is possible and what conditions could support life elsewhere in the universe.

• Examining the evidence - Take a closer look at UFO/UAP observations, astronomical discoveries, and scientific findings that have sparked questions about extraterrestrial life.

• The search for answers - Discover how scientists investigate extraordinary claims and search for credible signs of life beyond our planet.

About The Speaker:

Anthony DeLorenzo is a history educator and researcher with over a decade of experience teaching and communicating complex ideas to both high school and college students. Over the past five years, they have conducted in-depth research into the UFO (UAP) phenomenon, approaching the subject through a lens of critical inquiry, historical analysis, and evidence-based reasoning. Currently a PhD student in Education with two graduate degrees, their work focuses on examining primary source military documents dating back to 1947 to better understand how the UFO narrative has evolved and how public perception has been shaped over time. They are the editor and co-author of UFOs: Who Knows?, a frequent podcast guest, and a featured speaker at the 2025 Pine Bush UFO Fair, with a forthcoming book that aims to challenge assumptions and present well-supported conclusions about one of the most misunderstood topics of our time.
