French Wine Regions & Grape Varietals
France, the epitome of winemaking excellence, has continued to inspire winemaking around the globe for centuries.
French wine is known for its wide variety of grapes and its excellent quality. In France, origin tells you far more than the grape. Starting from location, you can learn the key grapes of each area, how soil and climate shape flavors, and then focus on producers and vintages that offer the best value.
