Kabaka Pyramid & Bebble Rockers - Reggae

Kabaka Pyramid is a Grammy Award-winning Rastafarian lyricist from Kingston, Jamaica, known for fusing reggae, hip-hop and dancehall with powerful, socially conscious messages. A key figure in Jamaica's Reggae Revival movement, he emerged with Rebel Music in 2011, featuring standout tracks such as "Free From Chains" and "Warrior" with Protoje. His distinctive lyrical style, rooted in hip-hop and reggae, quickly established him as one of the leading voices of a new generation of Jamaican artists.

Born Keron Salmon, Kabaka developed his sound with the Bebble Team, which became the foundation for his independent label, Bebble Rock. International touring and releases including "No Capitalist," "Mi Alright" with Chronixx and "Well Done," produced by Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley, expanded his global following. His 2018 debut album Kontraband, produced in collaboration with Damian Marley, reached No. 3 on Billboard's reggae chart and included the popular singles "Reggae Music," "Can't Breathe" and "Kontraband."

Kabaka reached another career milestone with his acclaimed 2022 album The Kalling, featuring Damian Marley, Stephen Marley, Protoje, Jesse Royal and Buju Banton. The album won the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album and further cemented his place among reggae's leading international artists. Backed by his band, The Bebble Rockers, Kabaka is also renowned for his electrifying live performances and has spent more than a decade touring major clubs and reggae festivals around the world.

Ras I-Dre and the Royal Frequency opens the show with DJ Mista B on the ones and twos. Winston's Kitchen will be on hand with delicious Caribbean fare.
