Eliot Society

Part of our Living Room Series, this evening is a guided time of listening to Schubert's "Unfinished" Symphony.

Horst Family Home

Stephen Horst will lead us through this famous piece, pointing out what to listen for and pausing along the way to talk about what we're hearing. No background in classical music needed. The only requirement is a willingness to sit still and enjoy.-Stephen grew up in a musical household: his dad a classically-trained pianist, and his mom a vocalist and music educator. He performed with the Maryland Boy Choir from a very young age and would continue singing in choirs through college at Grove City, eventually directing as well. His artistic background runs the gamut from acting and directing for the stage and screen to writing, producing, and performing music on a variety of projects. He served as Director of Worship Arts for many years at Church of the Resurrection (ACNA) in Washington, DC.
