Question 1

Do I have to buy the book

Accepted Answer

NO - but MM would not mind if you did. You could also bring your copy of her story collection A FLASH OF DARKNESS or her nonfiction guide for authors who have kids BOOK & BABY and she will be glad to sign any or all of these for you!

Question 2

Do I have to dance?

Accepted Answer

You never have to dance. But do consider putting on your red shoes at the very least.

Question 3

Will there be food?

Accepted Answer

Minimally? It's the 1980s. There might be chips. I'd eat first.

Question 4

Are costumes required?

Accepted Answer

At MM's parties, costumes are so strongly encouraged that her friends will wear sunglasses at night to avoid the shame of showing up without a costume. (seriously people, the 80s are very IN right now!)
