Join us for an artist talk and book signing with photographer Elliott Landy. The conversation will center on his new book, The Band Photographs 1968–1969: Two-Volume Set, featuring intimate photographs made during Landy’s unprecedented access to The Band as they recorded their first two albums, Music from Big Pink andThe Band.
The exhibition marks the 50th anniversary of The Last Waltz, The Band's farewell concert at San Francisco's Winterland Ballroom in 1976. This talk also closes our exhibition The Band: From Woodstock to the Last Waltz, which traces the band's journey from finding their sound to their farwell concert.

Tickets are $100 and include admission to the artist talk and book signing with Elliott Landy, where you’ll receive a signed copy of The Band Photographs, 1968–1969: Two-Volume Set (retail price: $100). Refreshments and hors d'oeuvres will be served, with a special guest to be announced.
