Step into the season with Gather & Glow, a warm, slow-paced fall creative experience at Restoration Studio in Sawyer Yards, Houston.

This is not a traditional art class, and you do not need to consider yourself artistic. Gather & Glow is an invitation to spend an evening making with your hands, exploring beautiful materials, noticing the season, and creating a few things worth taking home.

Throughout the studio, you’ll move between four curated creative stations, each inspired by autumn, nature, memory, and the beauty of making slowly.

At Reflect & Remember, create your own Little Book of Good Things using layered papers, watercolor, collage, words, stamps, and other details. Begin filling it with memories, gratitude, tiny joys, or simply leave space for the things you want to remember later.

At Notice & Gather, explore botanical printing using leaves, grasses, ferns, paint, watercolor, rubbing, layering, and natural forms. Create one botanical study or build a small collection inspired by the textures and colors of fall.

At Glow & Soften, make a delicate pressed botanical bookmark on translucent vellum. Arrange pressed flowers, leaves, grasses, and small details before your piece is laminated, trimmed, and finished with ribbon.

And at Gather & Make, create a gathered autumn hanging using ribbon, wood beads, paper, dried botanicals, bells, seasonal textures, dried citrus, and other natural elements. There is no correct arrangement. Build something that feels like the season to you.

The studio will be filled with thoughtfully curated materials, warm textures, botanical elements, seasonal details, and plenty of room to experiment.

Come alone, bring a friend, plan a creative girls’ night, make it a quiet date night in Houston, or simply give yourself a couple of hours to make something beautiful.

No art experience is needed. This experience is designed for adults who want something more meaningful than a typical paint-and-sip or craft class. You’ll receive enough guidance to get started while still having the freedom to create in your own way.
