About The Speaker:
Olivia Breedin, Ph.D. is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Psychology at Southern Methodist University. She earned her Ph.D. and M.S. in Social Psychology from Florida State University, where her research explored romantic relationships through both social and evolutionary lenses - including sexual satisfaction, sexism, and mate-retention behaviors. Through her work, Olivia brings together psychology and evolutionary theory to help audiences understand the science behind why we love, commit, and sometimes get jealous in our closest relationships.
