Neighborhood Impact Summit — First Look at the Future

Voices from the Community

Continue the conversation in the next Beyond Us Community Summit, designed to bring community voices to the table and help shape the future of housing and integrated services in DeKalb County.

This session will focus on two voices that are essential to shaping what comes next: those who may one day be served by this campus and those who will call it their neighbor.

We’ll hear directly from individuals with lived experience about the roadblocks that make it difficult to move beyond housing insecurity—and what having housing, services, opportunity, and support connected through one integrated campus could mean for their journey toward lasting stability.

For the first time, we will also share an early look at plans for the Beyond Us campus. As the vision moves closer to development, we recognize that a project of this scale will have an impact beyond the people it serves. Residents, businesses, faith communities, and others in the immediate vicinity of the campus will experience its development, construction, and long-term presence in their neighborhood.

Before we build in the neighborhood, we want to hear from the neighborhood.

This Summit will create an opportunity to see what is being envisioned, ask questions, and share feedback about potential neighborhood impacts, concerns, opportunities, and community support while there is still an opportunity for those voices to help inform the process.

Together, we’ll explore how a 24-acre live, work, heal community can create pathways toward restoration for our most vulnerable neighbors while also being thoughtfully integrated into the community that surrounds it.

This Summit is not simply about presenting a vision. It is about listening to the people who will be impacted by it—from those who may find a pathway home here to those who already call this neighborhood home.

Your voice matters. Your experience matters. Your neighborhood matters. Come be part of the conversation.
