Join Avalon Rises on November 11 for an evening of intention, imagination, community, and creation as we gather beneath the first New Moon following Samhain to create vision boards for the new cycle ahead.

Samhain marks the energetic new year on the Wheel of the Year—a threshold between one cycle and the next. And this New Moon is our first dark moon on the other side.

A blank canvas. A new beginning. A place to plant seeds.

🌱 Creation Begins Underground

We often think of spring as the beginning.

Flowers emerge. Trees leaf out. New growth becomes visible everywhere we look.

But long before anything breaks through the soil, something else has already begun.

The seed goes underground.

Winter is not an absence of creation. Beneath the surface, life is gathering its resources, establishing roots, doing internal alchemy, and preparing for what will eventually emerge into the light.

The Wheel of the Year invites us to work with that same rhythm.

Before we rush into action, we can become still enough to ask:

What do I actually want to grow?

Together, we'll step intentionally into this new creational cycle and give form to what we want to cultivate in the months ahead.

We'll begin by connecting with the energy of the New Moon and exploring the seasonal wisdom of this moment—then move into a guided visioning process before creating our own vision boards.

This isn't about making a pretty collage of things you think you're supposed to want.

It's an opportunity to listen inward.

To dream.

To choose.

And to begin giving shape to something before it can yet be seen.

Your vision might include your relationships, work, creativity, home, health and wellbeing, spiritual growth, adventures, community, or something entirely new that is just beginning to whisper to you.

Then we'll gather those intentions into something tangible that you can take home and return to throughout the cycle ahead.

You are also encouraged to bring any personal photographs, images, words, quotes, magazines, or other materials that feel meaningful to the vision you want to create.

No artistic experience is needed. There is no “right” way for your vision board to look.

Just come ready to imagine what could be.

And eventually, a time for blooming.
