ABOUT THE EVENING

Join The African Diaspora Consortium for an evening of culture, community, and connection at Le Musée de f.p.c., a historic house museum dedicated to preserving and sharing the history, culture, and contributions of free people of color.

The evening will feature a special performance by Allan Abbadia, Brazilian musical artist, producer, composer, arranger, researcher, and ADC Global Exchange Artist in Residence.

Under the mentorship of Delfeayo Marsalis, ADC Global Artistic Music Director, Abbadia composed an original work that culminated in a performance with the Uptown Jazz Orchestra in New Orleans. He continues his collaboration with ADC through musical and cultural exchanges connecting Brazil and New Orleans.
