A deep dive into the European payments legislative landscape, including upcoming legislative changes and their implications.
The Payment Services Directive sets the framework for the provision of payment services throughout the European Union. It has been a long journey, but with the final compromise texts having been published, we have an excellent view on what can be expected in the latest reform, which is expected to be adopted in the tail end of 2026.
In this interactive module, payment professionals will learn about the foundations of PSD3 and PSR, enabling them to assess how the impending legislative change will impact their organisations. Licensing requirements, changes to open banking and strong customer authentication, transparency requirements, fraud liability: all will be explored and illuminated through an in-depth breakdown of these complex topics by and for payment practitioners.
The training will take place as follows: 17 November 2026, 10:00 – 17:00 CET
Price for EBA Members: EUR 750; for non-members: EUR 950. The price includes all seminar activities, learning materials, and meal/refreshments during the breaks.
