Learn To Canerow: Beginner Workshop

Join us in person to learn how to section and canerow textured hair!

Welcome to Crown Care Academy! This is an educational workshop ran by CS Crown Care. These workshops were created to empower individuals with the skills and confidence to care for and style textured hair. Our second level 'Growth' builds on the foundations of healthy textured hair care, introducing more advanced techniques and practical skills to help you confidently care for, maintain, and style textured hair.

During the session, you will:

✨Understand the difference between overhand plating and underhand plaiting

✨Learn how to pre-part and section hair ready for canerowing

✨Learn how to do a raised and flat canerow

✨Receive top tips on how to achieve the best canerow

This is a beginner friendly workshop that provides a supportive environment to learn, ask questions and practice techniques you can use at home. Simply bring yourself—we'll provide everything you need for the workshop.

Please be advised that prior knowledge of knowing how to plait is essential to attend this workshop.
