Turkish Connection September

Your favourite event, featuring Turkish Street Food, Turkish beer, and raki, is back. We’re proud to host our event in the newest and most talked about Turkish Restaurant in Sydney, Hamsi Taverna!

Hamsi Taverna is inspired by the Bosphorus fish restaurants and the beach clubs of the Aegean coast, and this popular restaurant is the ideal destination to celebrate the upcoming summer. They crafted a special Turkish Street Food menu for our event, now included in the ticket price.

In this event, there is a special menu included in the ticket, so we will all get to enjoy the full menu. Yet the event will still be in an informal setting and the cocktail type, so it is easier to move around, if you want to. Yet you can just sit down and enjoy a drink with friends you haven’t caught up with.

Turkish Connection is the only networking event in Sydney with the aim of bringing us together. By getting together, we socialise,bond, and learn more about each other. Togetherness creates unity and strength, which are essential parts of a community.

Our events always attract a diverse crowd. Our newest members meet and mingle with our long-term members. Connections are initiated, business cards exchanged, and social media accounts linked.

This is a great opportunity to catch up with your friends! Use this event as an excuse and invite friends you haven’t caught up with in a while instead of complaining about not catching up, lol.

This is a ticketed event, and no tickets will be sold at the door.

Venue: Sydney Fish Market, Shop E1B/1 Bridge Rd, Glebe.

You can take the Light Rail to Wentworth Park Station on the L1 Dulwich Hill Line.

Ticket: $77 - Your ticket will get you entry to the networking event, all the food that is on the menu, and your welcome drink (beer, wine, or soft drink). $1 from your ticket is going to be donated to a charity.

Midye Dolma - Mussel, spiced rice, lemon

Kumpir - Baked potato, butter, kaşar cheese, pickles

Calamari rings - Crispy Calamari, hazelnut tarator, isot pepper

Kuzu Kokoreç - Spiced lamb, chilli, mini brioche

Islak Hamburger - Beef patty, soft bun, garlic tomato sauce

Şambali - Semolina cake, tahini

Drink: Efes, Raki, Wine, Soft Drinks and Cocktails are available.
