Join us for a special outdoor edition of Poetic Jazz, an evening of live music, spoken word, collaboration, and improvisation inspired by the legendary Chaka Khan.

Under the stars, our house band will put its own spontaneous spin on the music of one of soul, funk, R&B, and jazz’s most iconic voices.

No rehearsal. No script. No two Poetic Jazz shows are ever the same.

Expect familiar Chaka Khan favorites to meet unexpected grooves, poetic reflections, improvisation, and the energy of a live outdoor experience. It’s a tribute rooted not just in the songs, but in the freedom, soul, and musicianship that make her music timeless.

Bring your lawn chair, blanket, or pillow and settle in for a night of music, poetry, and community under the stars. Limited seating will be available.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the evening. No outside food or beverages permitted.

Parking & Transportation

Street parking is available but limited. Rideshare and MARTA are strongly encouraged. Please park only in designated areas. Poetic Jazz and the venue are not responsible for towing, vehicle damage, theft, or break-ins.
