St Gabriel: Paper Lanterns

Your child will come to the art room at the end of the school day. Please have them pack a snack to enjoy during our time together!

Through these art experiences, our goal is to plant seeds of faith, build self-esteem, and provide a meaningful creative outlet.

This month, our affirmation is I AM STRONG. We’ll look to 2 Corinthians 12:9 to remind us of this truth: God’s strength is made perfect in our weakness.

During our art time, your child will create a collaged paper lantern, adding their own unique style. Collage encourages creativity and play while also introducing concepts of placement, composition, and design.

Once we’ve finished our project and cleaned up, we’ll meet in the cafeteria where you can sign your child out. Come to the Brady Hall Doors.

If your child is interested but unable to attend, you can order an art kit to complete at home. Kits will be available for pickup in the school office the day following the event.
