The Lizard Lounge Slam Team is taking over!!! The slam team will be hosting a night for more poetry and more poets! We’re hoping to create more opportunities for poets to share their work, offer more open mic space, and make room for themed events, alternative formats, and exciting experiments.
Whether you’re a regular with a weekly seat or stepping down our stairs for the first time, we invite you to join as we celebrate how poetry challenges and connects us. Each Takeover will be a little different, but each time we’ll be booting Blake off the stage. Come see what happens when we hand the keys to the poets.
