COLLAGE SESSION with Deniz Ekim Tilif

Join us for the eighth edition of the bi-weekly series Collage Session, a hands-on collage workshop at Zemin Art Space led by artist and curator Deniz Ekim Tilif.

Collage Session is an open-ended space to experiment with images, textures, colours, shapes and found materials. You’ll work with a selection of collage materials and create your own piece through cutting, layering, rearranging and combining different elements. The idea is to explore the medium at your own pace and see where the process takes you, with help your intuition and instructions given by your host.

The workshop is open to all skill levels, whether you’ve never made a collage before or already work with the medium regularly. No previous artistic experience is needed.

All essential collage materials are provided, so you can simply come along and start making your collage. You’re also welcome to bring your own materials if there’s something specific you’d like to work with.

Works created during Collage Session workshops will come together in The Fine Cuts, an upcoming collective exhibition at Zemin Art Space.

Come cut, paste, experiment, and spend a few hours making something in a relaxed, social setting. ✂️
