Majestic Fused Glass Garden Stake Workshop - Garden City

I've been wanting to make this piece for a long time and now it's finally come to fruition! These large plants stakes were made by Jan Moore and her 92 year old mother who live in OH. I own all 4 of these pieces and I LOVE them in my gardens. I finally found a welder who made the rebar setup for the backside of the large glass piece 18" tall x 4" wide and rebar is 30-32" tall. Easily inserts into ground. (rebar setup and assembly included) $80

Although this is a large project, doesn't mean it is an advanced class. Really, anyone can do it. No experience needed; just the eagerness to learn. The instructor will show you how to cut and assemble. This class is appropriate for adults of all ages.

You can make any design that you wish. However, please note that the design cost is meant to be a 60/40 project. What that means is that you can use 60% colored glass and the other 40% will be a complete fill in with clear glass. If you wish to use all colored glass throughout your project, there will be an additional charge of $10

You will create your design by cutting and glueing in class. All projects will be kiln fired by Laurie with Kiss My Glass, prepped and assembled (where required) and carefully packaged for delivery to the class location in about 10-12 days. An email will be sent out with pickup instructions.

Drinks that are covered are ok in the venue but food and glass do not mix. Wine is ok too. Please wear closed toed shoes.

If you would like to pay by mail, please chose the "Comp Ticket" option. Payment instructions will be emailed approx. 3-4 weeks prior to the event.

Doors will open 10 min early if time allows.

2026 Cancellation policy: A credit towards another class can be given if you need to cancel prior to 5 days of the event.
