"Women of Community" Networking Event & Panel Discussion: October 22nd
Great news! Your plans for the evening of Thursday October 22nd are already set, please keep reading this invitation for the details....
Women of Community
A Community Impact Forum & Panel Discussion Presented by Tony P’s Networking Events
Join us for a special evening at Hideaway Chicago as Tony P’s Networking Events presents Women of Community, a new event series bringing together women who are creating impact through the communities they have built, led, and grown.
These are women who understand that influence is not simply about how many people you can reach. It is about what you can create when you bring the right people together around a shared purpose.
At the heart of the evening will be a featured panel discussion with women behind some of Chicagoland’s meaningful communities, networks, organizations, audiences, and initiatives. We’ll go beyond how they built their communities and explore why they built them, the impact those communities are creating, and what becomes possible when community leaders choose collaboration over competition.
Women of Community is built on that same idea. When women who already know how to bring people together begin connecting their communities, sharing resources, opening doors, and creating opportunities for one another, their collective impact becomes much greater.
This isn’t simply a panel discussion. It’s an opportunity to bring different communities into the same room. Women will have the opportunity to meet one another, exchange ideas, discover opportunities to collaborate, and build relationships that extend beyond the evening.
What We’ll Discuss
Our panelists will share their experiences and perspectives on topics including:
Building a community around purpose, not just an audience
Turning connection and influence into meaningful impact
Creating authentic engagement, trust, and belonging
Collaboration versus competition, and what becomes possible when community leaders work together
Growing a community while maintaining its culture and purpose
Connecting communities to create new opportunities, partnerships, and greater collective impact
Using events, partnerships, social media, and personal relationships to expand reach
The responsibility that comes with leading and influencing a community
The future of community and collaboration in Chicago
Who Should Attend
Women who are building communities, creating impact, bringing people together, and looking for meaningful ways to collaborate with others doing the same.
Entrepreneurs, executives, business owners, community leaders, professionals, creators, nonprofit leaders, organizers, connectors, and women with influence across Chicago’s business, social, philanthropic, professional, and cultural communities are invited to join us.
Men who believe in supporting, collaborating with, and creating opportunities alongside women leaders are also welcome and encouraged to attend.
The Experience
In addition to the panel discussion, the evening will feature plenty of time for open networking before and after the program.
But the intention is bigger than exchanging business cards. Women of Community is about connecting people who can become resources, collaborators, partners, advocates, and bridges between communities.
Come prepared to meet new people, introduce yourself to leaders from other communities, exchange ideas, and build relationships that continue well beyond the event.
Network. Empower. Collaborate. Grow.
