Reclamation: A Biscuits N Thangs Vegan Supper Club

Join Biscuits N Thangs for an intimate rooftop supper at the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture. Inspired by Repossessions - a powerful exhibition exploring reclamation, reparations, memory and the lasting legacy of enslavement through the work of Black artists.

Set against the Charlotte skyline, Reclamation invites us to consider what happens when we take something familiar and see it again through a different lens.

For one evening, that lens is food.

Through a thoughtfully curated, plant-based Southern supper, Chef Latisha Daring reimagines the flavors, ingredients, stories, and traditions that have shaped southern tables - honoring where they come from while creating space for where they can go.

This is more than dinner.

It is a gathering around memory, nourishment, creativity, culture, and becoming.

Guests will enjoy a multi-course Biscuits N Thangs experience designed specifically for the evening, along with signature drinks and an opportunity to see the exhibition that inspired the menu.

About the Chef:

Chef Latisha Daring is the founder and chef behind Biscuits N Thangs, a vegan food brand rooted in Southern tradition, creativity, and cultural storytelling. A self taught chef and entrepreneur, Latisha creates food that invites people to experience familiar flavors in unexpected ways. Through her Supper Club, she brings together food, community, culture, and conversation, creating intimate dining experiences that are as thoughtful as they are delicious. Her cooking reflects her belief that food is more than nourishment - it is a way to tell stories, Honor where we come form and imagine what is next.
