<h2>Give Sanctuary 2026: “I’m Trying to See Somethin’”</h2>Saturday, September 19, 2026 | 12 PM–7 PM Pittsburgh Community Market at Pittsburgh Yards Free + Open to Everyone | Rain or ShineWhat happens when we stop simply attending community and start building it together?Give Sanctuary is a community-built cultural experience where art, creativity, commerce, play, and fellowship come together to create a temporary village.Now in its fifth year, Give Sanctuary invites neighbors, families, artists, makers, businesses, and curious humans to bring something to the table—whether that’s a skill, a story, a product, a creative idea, a few hours of volunteer time, or simply a willingness to make something.<h3>This year, we’re trying to see somethin’.</h3>At the heart of the village is The Light Makers Workshop, a hands-on creative experience designed to put materials, tools, and encouragement into people’s hands. Come experiment, make, play, and discover your own creative spark. You don't have to call yourself an artist. You just have to be willing to make something.Explore The Shoppes of Give Sanctuary, meet local makers and merchants, enjoy food and music, discover youth activities, and participate in experiences designed to get you out of the role of spectator and into the village.And because a village is something we build together, there are plenty of ways to participate—from volunteering and shopping to making, vending, sponsoring a creative table, donating materials, or adding your name to the Give Sanctuary Stained Glass Window.Come for the festival. Stay for the village.
