A hands-on workshop to reimagine our digital needs
Imagine if 5G had never been deployed. How would your work, routines and social life be different today? Would you even notice?
Each new generation of digital infrastructure seems essential, yet we rarely consider whether it is truly urgent or the environmental impact of the antennas, cables and towers.
In this workshop, we address these questions head on. Together, we will explore what we genuinely need from digital infrastructure and what we have simply inherited. We will also imagine what a more frugal internet for Brussels could look like.
For whom?
The workshop is open to everyone, including telecom and IT professionals, urban planners, public servants, environmental groups, teachers, students and residents. No technical background is needed.
