Grits & Guitars is trading cowboy boots for boat shoes for one very smooth Sunday!

Join us at The Honky Tonk at Oak + Iron in Downtown Jackson on Sunday, October 11th for a special edition of Grits & Guitars featuring Yacht Rock and Soul.

We’re serving up brunch alongside an afternoon of smooth grooves, soulful harmonies & yacht rock favorites from the 70’s and 80’s. Think Michael McDonald, Steely Dan, Christopher Cross, Kenny Loggins, Hall & Oates, TOTO, The Doobie Brothers and more.

And yes, dressing the part is highly encouraged. Break out the captain’s hats, boat shoes, resort wear & questionable amounts of linen.

We’ll also be giving away captain’s hats throughout the event, so a few lucky guests can officially join the crew!

11 AM — Doors Open + Brunch Begins

12:30 PM — Live Music Begins. Smooth sailing through 3 PM.
