Upcoming Medicare Fall Annual Enrollment Period

Passages HICAP (Health Insurance Counseling & Advocacy Program) provides free, unbiased Medicare counseling to help older adults and Medicare beneficiaries understand their coverage options.

10am-11am // 11am-12pm // 12pm-1pm // 1pm-2pm // 2pm-3pm // 3pm-4pm

The Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) runs from October 15 through December 7. During this time, Medicare beneficiaries can review and make changes to their Part D Prescription Drug and Medicare Advantage (Part C) coverage for the upcoming year.

What Can You Do During Medicare AEP?

• Switch from one Part D Plan to another
• Switch from a Medicare Advantage Plan to Original Medicare
• Switch from Original Medicare to a Medicare Advantage Plan
• Enroll in a Part D Prescription Drug Plan
• Switch from one Medicare Advantage Plan to another
• Cancel your current Part D Plan

Medicare beneficiaries may receive significant advertising and outreach from insurance companies and agents during this time. Before making changes to your health coverage, make sure you understand how a new plan may affect your medications, providers, costs, and benefits.
