SPELL SCHOOL NEWPORT: Candle Magic

Ever lit a candle for an intention but wondered what you were actually supposed to do next? Maybe you want to create your own candle spells but don’t know which colour to choose, how to prepare your candle or how to charge it with your intention.

Welcome to Spell School Newport! A beginner-friendly evening exploring one of the most accessible and powerful forms of spellwork: candle magic.

You don’t need any prior knowledge, belief or experience to be here. Just curiosity.

In this session, we’ll cover:

• How candle magic works and why candles have been used in spiritual and magical practices across cultures
• How to choose the right candle for your intention
• Candle colours and their magical meanings
• How to cleanse, prepare and safely dress a candle using oils and herbs
• How to create a clear intention and charge your candle with energy
• Hands-on practical work: you’ll create and charge your own candle spell
• How to safely burn your candle and complete your working
  

You’ll be able to choose an intention that feels personal to you, such as protection, confidence, self-love, abundance, healing, road opening or releasing something you’re ready to move on from.

Who this is for:

Complete beginners, the curious, and anyone who wants a grounded, practical introduction to candle spellwork. No experience is necessary and everything offered is invitational.
